In regards to this edit, are you sure the old picture didn't look better? It showed less of his face, but it was higher resolution (the current image looks terrible in comparison) and looked alot cleaner. It also showed him about to kick a conversion, which has more encyclopedic value in my opinion. I would like to hear your input though, thank you. Matty (talk) 13:04, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
- yes I know, but that is the best free version available, with so many kiwi editors, none can get a better quality pic, and as per my edit summary, this image should be used until someone can get a better quality pic which shows his face since its being used on his infobox where his face need to be shown clearly and the other image can be used within the article. He is the worlds best flyhalf to-date and no one being able to acquire a free better quality version of a pic which shows his face clearly is really sad ...--Cometstyles 13:08, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Blues logo.gif)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Blues logo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 09:35, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]I dont know whether you have been keeping track of the discussions at WT:RFA but theres one that i think, well i hope you might be interested in. Its this one here I urge you to read it and for the good of the project put your hand up and say yes. Its been 15 months since you last ventured into that part of the wiki world and i am sure you will have people jumping on board like myself to grab the mop and put it on your hand. Its about time i say. Please at least think about it. On an aside, how come you have stopped giving warnings to vandals? Thank You 211.30.127.142 (talk) 08:38, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for the offer, but no..15 months..wow.. I stopped counting since late last year, sadly I have sort of lost faith in the community and well I don't have any intentions though sometimes I really wish I had the tools to make my job easier, and regarding not warning "vandals" < that's the key word . I have been here long enough to understand that warning "vandals" would make them vandalise more so i rarely warn or report them nowadays though sometimes the vandalism rates are soo high that I have no time to warn, just end up reverting edit after edit and on dial-up its very much a nightmare...don't mind me asking, but who are you? ...you could reply via e-mail if you want to :) ..--Cometstyles 11:07, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- I understand your concerns and its a shame about the faith because the community does need you, i guess thats why RfA and admin numbers were horribly down last month. I can only hope this can change though its only a hope. Its incredible though your so fast with dial up, i still find it hard to believe till this day. Best, i will leave you in peace in beautiful Fiji. 211.30.127.142 (talk) 11:58, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
- Don't leave me in peace... no one talks to me on wiki nowadays...so how are you o/ , better yet, who are you? ..yeah enwiki needs more admins, we boast 1500+ admins but only 250 maximum can be classified as active adn secondly, the RfA process is really in need of a revamp and yeah dial-up is slowwwww, i always wish i had a faster speed but sadly its not available here. I connect at 50.6kbps mostly and while reverting vandalism, get beaten by the bots and HUGGLE users a lot , thats why i reduced my editing on enwiki :) .. --Cometstyles 12:20, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
